On Saturday, December 14, 2024, the Bolton Seventh-day Adventist Company hosted a festive Christmas-themed jubilee, bringing together members, visitors, and special guests for an afternoon of music, fellowship, and service. The celebration featured guest singers from Malton Seventh-day Adventist Church whose beautiful acapella renditions of carols and hymns delighted the congregation.

The event continued with a hearty vegetarian dinner prepared by a church sister and a church elder, and her team of dedicated deaconesses. The church dining hall buzzed with energy and joyful fellowship as attendees shared meals and warm conversations, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and guests alike.

Community Outreach

Bolton Seventh-day Adventist Company has been actively participating in the worldwide "Great Controversy Project." This initiative, launched by the General Conference in 2021-2022, aims to distribute one billion copies of Ellen G. White's "The Great Controversy" by 2024. Over the years, Bolton members have contributed to this ambitious goal by sharing hundreds of copies of the book throughout the Bolton area.

During outreach efforts, members left books and informational flyers on doorsteps and handed them to community members. Recipient reactions ranged from skepticism to curiosity and even fascination.

In addition to the book campaign, church members showcased their generosity by donating a wide range of gifts to children, parents, and other attendees during an exciting free gift distribution.

Finally, on Saturday, December 7, 2024, the church brought a special touch of holiday cheer during a Christian-themed visit to a Long-Term Care Nursing Home filled with piano music and heartfelt singing. A church sister played the piano as members led residents in Christmas carols and hymns, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The music and fellowship brought smiles to the faces of the residents and staff alike, capturing the true spirit of the season.

The Bolton Seventh-day Adventist Company continues to exemplify Christ’s love through its ongoing commitment to service. It shows that small acts of kindness can make a big difference in its community.
